I so loved the scene where Ichikawa was putting the wallet into Yamada's pocket. It felt quite spicy when he unbuttoned the raincoat.

yeah, i'm thinking that the 'tall busty girl' and the 'short slender guy' pairings are getting more popular recently in anime. 'The Duke of Death and His Black Maid' and 'Vermeil in Gold' for example. but of course, the most popular pairing is the hot guy with some height and the cute petite girl.

The genre has really come a long way since the anime Lovely Complex.

She didn't say she is "practically in love". She said dai suki, so the correct translation is " I love (it)"

It's a better translation for this situation though. They needed a translation that, in English, could mean either she loves him or she loves the chocolate. "I love (it)" wouldn't be confused for her saying she loves him. "I'm practically in love" is better because it accounts for the fact that other people could take it out of context and think she is confessing to him. (That's why he got embarrassed and yelled "You mean the chocolate, right???")

It gets a lot better. I personally dislike (a little) how middle school kids are portrayed to quickly develop self-awareness (EQ) at this age (like most animes anyways), but it's a little endearing and realistic how they both of them develops their characters as this goes by.

More than... potential for romance, the development of their persons were also given proper focus. It tries to level down to "middle school" level people with how they talk and the like, but overall, if they make the whole manga into an anime, we're in for an awesome ride.

Hey quick question, why do y'all keep saying y'all have diabetes or getting diabetes lol?? I'm pretty sure you would NEVER want diabetes, my uncle has it and he almost died many times from it and some people lose limbs or more, even die from diabetes. Don't want to be the party pooper or sound like an old man but saying that constantly could manifest into reality and you could actually end up with diabetes, it's not fun from what I've seen. People's lives can be horrible from diabetes, if really bad, it could be torture, making you suffer slowly until you're an amputee with nothing else to amputate, only thing left to do is wither until death smh. But just wondering.

It's not that they are literally getting diabetes, it's more cause it's so sweet that they'll "get it". Cause some people end up with diabetes from way too much sugar, and this show is so sweet aka much sugar. It's just an expression:)

Adachi really does need to learn to shut up though, the things that come out of his mouth is absurd. For a moment I thought he was going to get along with the other fan of Baki but the way he does not filter his thought is always going to bite back and ruin any chance he has.

Remembering my school days, there was actually a window of a few years where both girls & boys were frank about coital things before females start buying into adult prudishness again as working adults, sure it depends on the person but females were generally least uptight as adolescents re romance & libido.

But Adachi definitely needs to change his strategy or find coitally open girls.

Conversely, traditional places (like East Asia) tending to be prudish is also counterproductive.
